Daniele Lombardi is a composer, pianist and visual artist of international stature thanks to his extraordinary repertoire. For several years he has directed the festival Nuova Musica Italiana e Nuova Musica Internazionale in Rome. Daniele Lombardi has taught piano at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. Thirty-four plaques containing fragments of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy are dotted around the historical center of Florence. They were placed there at the beginning of the 1900s and were intended as a reminder of those people and places that had left their mark on the city and it's history a few lines from the boundless ocean of the poem floating adrift.
