Daniele Lombardi has taught piano at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. For several years he has directed the festival Nuova Musica Italiana e Nuova Musica Internazionale in Rome. Thirty-four plaques containing fragments of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy are dotted around the historical center of Florence.
