Ralph Bates stars in this classic British horror co-written and directed by Jimmy Sangster. Angry that he has been banned from carrying out his anatomy experiments, scientist Victor Frankenstein Bates kills his father and becomes the Baron of the estate. Using the family fortune to build a new laboratory, Frankenstein begins creating a creature from body parts which he is able to bring to life. However, things soon get out of hand as the monster breaks free and sets out on a murderous rampage around the castle. The cast also includes Kate O'Mara and Veronica Carlson.
