Mind Key started in early 1999 thanks to the founding members Dario de Cicco keyboards Emanuele Colella guitars, who decided to create a band with the precise task to melt the sound of prog metal bands like Symphony X, Dream Theater, Elegy, Planet X, Royal Hunt with a newer, mature and more song-oriented approach. After the first year spent writing and performing, in September '99 Francesco Mormile bass and Mark Basile vocals completed the line-up with Andrea Stipa finally taking his place behind the drumkit. So the band began to have a regular presence in the club-scene of Naples - their hometown - giving numerous successful live shows. With this strong and finally stable line-up, MK are ready to begin the second leg of the European tour, playing at the Progrock Festival in Warsaw, with Pendragon and Riverside, and supporting the English prog giants, through other five dates in Poland,
