All five episodes of the first series of the BBC drama series created by Jimmy McGovern and produced by Colin McKeown. In this series, a lonely widow comes to a decision to marry her holiday romance, a single woman is forced to sell her house to pay off her many debts, and a young boy has to come clean to his parents about his sexuality when they discover women's lingerie in his cupboard. Each episode tells a self-contained contemporary story in which the characters have reached a turning point in their lives and are trying to move on.
