Blanche McIntyre directs this live performance of Shakespeare's violent tragedy recorded at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Tamora plots her own scheme for revenge while Titus refuses to become the new emperor, a decision which has tragic consequences. David Troughton plays the role of Roman army general Titus Andronicus, who sacrifices the eldest son of Tamora Queen of the Goths Nia Gwynne to avenge his sons who were killed in war.
